T-ALKIE by T-Mobile // 3D Model + Web App
1985 is calling.
Tapping into the current trend of massive cell phone cases, we created a case that turns a smartphone
into a replica walkie-talkie from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.
We designed everything from the 3D model of the case to the retro packaging
full of Stranger Things 3 easter eggs.
Over 250 units were 3D printed and distributed to high-profile influencers,
the cast of the show, and the fans via a social media giveaway.
For those who were unable to snag a case, we created a web app to simulate the T-ALKIE.
Fans were able to talk in real-time with friends, interact with characters from the show, and hear season 3 easter eggs.
Users racked up over 50,000 minutes of T-ALKIE time across 100 different countries.
